Premium quality handmade Thai Tom Kha Paste. Made from fresh high quality ingrediants from Thailand as part of the Royal Thai Project where organic ingredients are selected to make each individual packet of curry paste.

 

This Tom Kha paste is packed with lots of fresh flavours that are great for a cold day or if you're feeling a little under the weather. It is coconut milk based which makes it more creamier and less spicier than a Tom Yam Soup. Packed with lots of nutrishous spices and flavours this soup pairs perfectly with chicken or as a vegetarian option, fresh vegetables, quorn/tofu and mushrooms. Be sure to add lots of fresh lime and corriander with light soy sauce (fish sauce alternative) to balance out the soup to your liking.

 

You will find that our Tom Kha paste is completely Vegan friendly and Gluten Free, allowing you to create the most delicious authentic homemade Thai curries and soups. You will find on the back of the packet, a step by step recipe on how to make Tom Kha Soup and the additional ingrediants you will need to buy, some of which are available as part of our range of products.     Dried Red Chili 1.6%, Thai garlic 0.2%

    Free from all additives, artificial colours, preservatives GMO and MSG. 

  • Tom Kha, literally translated as boiled galangal, has an intriguing
    flavour mix of cardamom, ginger, and saffron with mustard and citrus
    notes. On its own, it heightens the flavors of the other ingredients while retaining its own distinctive character of warmth, pungency and pepperiness. As a paste, it releases flavors more slowly due to the natural oil present in the galangal which provides the Tom Kha' famous fullness of flavour.
